Today Father Michael preaches on suffering, why it happens, and the Christian response to it.

Sometimes the same truth can be both simple and complex. Today Father Michael urges us to obey one such truth “Abide in Christ”.

“Let not your heart be troubled, believe in God, believe also in me.”

This week we are privileged to have our Bishop Frank Lyons preach to us on the image of Jesus as the Good Shepard, as well as another unusual image Jesus mentions in today’s Gospel reading.

“Discipleship is the process of our eyes being opened.” On the road to Emmaus, the disciples didn’t recognize Jesus because their eyes hadn’t “adjusted” to the new reality of the risen Lord. How can we open our own eyes?

This week Father Daniel looks at the Apostle’s initial astonishment at encountering the risen Lord.
